Authentic brunch? Head to North London
It is a rainy Saturday in London and nothing goes better with this gloomy weather than sitting in a cozy coffee shop with a steaming latte in your hands. Do you recognize the feeling? If you find yourself walking around Camden Market on a day like this, stop by Pamban Café and enjoy a nice coffee break away from the hustle and bustle of Camden Lock.
Pamban is an award winning coffee house with an endless variety of organic coffee and proper chai tea. We tried a Rose Latte which turned out to be delicious -and also pink-, so a real paradise for #coffeelovers, basically. And either if you consider yourself a chai tea connoisseur or you have heard all about it but haven’t tasted one yet we highly recommend the “Chai Flight”, a Chai tasting that includes three options of your choice.
But let’s talk about food. We didn’t want to leave the place without a good snap, so we ordered the pancakes and avocado toast for Instagram purposes, of course. However, we were greatly surprised not only by the presentation -that by the way, exceeded our expectations- but it actually tasted divine!
Pamban is for sure, a must try in North London. It combines the western food we love with a moderate Indian and Sri Lankan influence. It is a naturally unpretentious coffee shop with a pleasant atmosphere, reasonable price and very friendly staff that will deliver a real authentic brunch on your Saturday morning.
